【摘要】:Molybdenumcanbefoundinwastethatresultsfromchemicalcleaningofcomponentsinwhichthemetalisalloyed.NationalPollutionDischargeEliminationSystem(NPDES)permitsorotherstandards,orboth,requiremonitoringpollutantsinwastedischargedontothewatershedof,orinto,navigablewaters,andthosedisposedofinsuchamannerthateventualcontaminationofundergroundwatercouldresult.Thistestmethodaffordsanaccurateandsensitivemeansofdeterminingcompliancewiththosepermits.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofdissolvedandtotalrecoverablemolybdenuminmostwaters,wastewaters,andbrinesbyatomicabsorptionspectroscopy.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableintherangefrom1to25g/Lofmolybdenum.Therangemaybeextendedbydilutionofthesample.1.3Thistestmethodhasbeenusedsuccessfullywithnaturalandreagentwaters.Itistheuser''sresponsibilitytoensurethevalidityofthistestmethodforwatersofuntestedmatrices.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeNote3andNote9.
