【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversflexiblecellularrubberproductsknownasspongerubbersandexpandedrubbersbutdoesnotapplytolatexfoamrubbers.Thebasematerialusedintheirmanufacturemaybenaturalrubber,reclaimedrubber,syntheticrubberorrubber-likematerials,aloneorincombination.Ebonitecellularrubbersarenotincluded.Extrudedormoldedshapesofsizestoosmallforcuttingstandardtestspecimensaredifficulttoclassifyortestbythesemethodsandwillusuallyrequirespecialtestingprocedures.Incaseofconflictbetweentheprovisionsofthisgeneralspecificationandthoseofdetailedspecificationsormethodsoftestforaparticularproductthelattershalltakeprecedence.Referencetothesemethodsfortestingcellularrubberproductsshouldspecificallystatetheparticulartestortestsdesired.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodssectionsofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ISO6916-1issimilartothisspecification.
