适用范围
本标准规定了移动IPv4（为防止歧义，下文中移动IP特指移动IPv4）总技术要求，包括代理请求/发现、注册以及路由等内容，涉及的设备有归属代理、移动节点、外地代理等。移动IPv4提供一种特殊的IP路由机制，使移动节点可以以一个永久的IP地址连接到链路上，可以在IP网络上提供移动功能的技术方案。本标准适用于移动IP相关设备及组网应用。
